Fellowship
The Society has around 400 fellows. There are, apart from those in Sweden, fellows in Denmark, Finland, France, Norway, Russia, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Library
The aim of the library is to care for the collection, to ensure the availability of the library for members, employees of the Defence Establishment, researchers, and the general public.
Awards and Grants
The Royal Society of Naval Sciences grants awards for competition essays, articles submitted to the Tidskrift i Sjöväsendet and for commendable work at the National Defence College.
